This article is short, but very engaging. Why? The reason is
it relates to our meals and commercial development of dinning common at RPS.
One thing I have to bring up again even thought it had been mentioned for thousands of times is the “sandwiches event”. It well reflected the superiority of “cooperation power” dinning staff. When the “bad taste sandwiches” have been repeatedly questioned and struggled among student group, the dinning common staff had already silently come up with a good excuse. I have to say it helps the commercial development of the dinning common at some point. At least it helped save small amount of money for cleaning.
Every noon when I walk into the dinning common, my eyes always covered with strong yellow, red and brown (Yellow: fries, pasta, red: soup, sour, pizza, brown: beef, meat). Well, those colors kind of fit the color of RPS, However, if there is any green stands out, it will be the prettiest color to me.
Did you try the “Fruit juice”? More clearly, I should call it water with fruits. At first, I thought that would be a healthy and good drink because there are always few pieces of fruits flowing in every bottle. However, when I am full of joy holding the cup and excitedly taste the “nature fruit juice”. I suddenly realized I obviously deceived by their attractive looking. It is actually just pure water. Since then, every time when I pass the four bottles of “nature fruit water” I always feel so sad.
Soda seems so popular among students. However, for me it tastes like mouthwash. And fortunately those Listerine-taste drinks were placed in a corner.
The highest frequency of appearance of food in RPS dinning common is pasta. However I didn’t find it attractive at all. And actually it is a big headache for me whenever I see it. And I lost the feeling of hunger. However, it would be a good method to lose weight if I there is pasta everyday in the dining common.
Well, lastly, I will like to say if there is a big visitors come or when the school years just start, please hurry up and enjoy the food in dinning common. You will miss those days in your rest of your school year.
